We sometimes get asked what the back of the hood looks like. Probably because no-one ever takes a photo of the back, and we only show the mask part in product images. So here’s a history of the back of Wruff Stuff hoods.
Wruff Stuff hoods are the only hood to use two straps from the forehead, which then hold each ear and meet at the back.
Originally we just used straps on their own with sliders that held them in place
We toyed with using an acrylic widget idea in November 2016, but even though the corners were rounded it was too pokey.
For a while we used rings instead, and the straps were converted to what we call infinity straps, which are a bit like Velcro but stick to themselves.
And eventually, for the three-strap system, we went back to the 2016 idea but used felt instead, and continued with the infinity straps.
