When you sell on Wruff Stuff you’ll incur fees. We aim to provide a fair service by charging only a small percentage (5%) per sale. However we also have to factor in payment processing costs, tax, and currency exchange rate if you are not based in the UK. This means it is unlikely that you will receive exactly the same amount for each sale of the same item.
We convert fees from GBP to your payment account currency at the market rate at the time the fee is reflected in your payment account. This conversion may change if currency exchange rates change.
Listing fees
Free
Transaction fees
5% of the listing cost not including postage.
Payment processing fee
We use PayPal to handle our payment processing, for which we are charged a fee per sale.
The amount you receive per sale will reflect the payment processing fee paid on that sale.
VAT
Because we are based in the UK we are charged VAT differently on items sold within the UK, the rest of Europe, and the rest of the world.
The amount you receive per sale will reflect the tax paid on that sale.
Shipping fees
If we are stocking pre-made items, we will deduct the shipping fee from your the amount you receive.
If you are sending directly to the customer, we will include the shipping cost paid by the customer in the amount you receive, less payment processing fees and taxes.
Store-wide discounts
We frequently have promotions that offer discounts on some or all items. These can be up to 30% off. Sometimes this leaves us, and you, with a very small margin on listings. Our position is that a sale is still a sale and visibility is a good thing. You can decide whether or not to participate in offers.
Examples
